Directions to Trial Site

Directions to KK9 Trial Site @ Birchback Station:

If you are using an Internet Mapping site, enter Birchbank Station Road.

• Coming From Castlegar along Highway 3 Take exit ramp into Castlegar. Turn south onto Columbia Ave (aka Hwy 22) at the lights and head towards Trail. You will come to another intersection with Canadian Tire, Subway etc--15.3km from this intersection is the turn off to the agility trial site. About 14.7 km out of Castlegar is a straight stretch of road which divides into 2 lanes. Stay in the left lane because at 15.3km there is a Birchbank Station Rd sign on your left which is where you turn. There will also be a Kootenay Kanine sign so turn left off the hwy and follow the road to our site.

• Coming From Trail along Highway 22 Leaving Trail for Castlegar on Hwy 22 the turn off to the agility trial site is 10.3kms from the intersection of Hwy 22 and Hwys 22B/3B to Rossland. Continue on Hwy 22 to Castlegar. At 8.1kms you pass the Rossland Golf and Country Club on your right which is 2.2 kms from the trial site. You will come to a straight stretch of road where the oncoming left lane divides into two lanes. Watch for a road sign on your right at 10.3kms that says Birchbank Station Road, there will also be the Kootenay Kanines sign. Turn right onto Birchbank Station and continue to the agility site.
